Palatka City Commissioner Justin Campbell was first elected in November, 2014 and was recently re-elected in November, 2018 to serve a four (4) year term as Palatka City Commissioner, Group 2 beginning January 7, 2019.

Justin Campbell graduated from Florida State University with a dual degree in Criminal Justice and International Affairs. He is now seeking a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. Growing up in the small town of Palatka, Florida, Commissioner Campbell has always recognized the importance of a hard work ethic, helping others, giving back to the community, and most importantly being a positive presence in the lives of our youth.

He realized that if he had not had positive influences in his life at an early age, the road traveled may have been much different. He believes that there are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist or accept the responsibility for changing them. He has chosen the latter and is dedicated to making a difference in his community.

Commissioner Campbell is the CEO of Campbell Consulting Group and Founder of Reach One Teach One Mentorship Program, a signature program that was started to facilitate the important goal of positively impacting the lives of at-risk youth.

Additionally, Commissioner Campbell previously served as liaison to the Black Student Union, The Trayvon Martin Foundation Board, The Tallahassee Community College Alumni Board of Directors, and the Florida State University Black Alumni Associations Board of Directors. Commissioner Campbell currently serves as a Guest Lecturer and motivational speaker at various colleges, universities, churches, and community events. 

Commissioner Campbell currently holds the position of District Community Liaison with the Putnam County School District and is a staff associate with Karl N. Flagg Serenity Chapel.

Commissioner Campbell presently serves on the following Boards of Directors: Palatka Police Athletic League, Florida Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, City of Palatka Fire Pension, Communities & Schools, Northeast Florida Community Action, Lee Conlee House, and City of Palatka Community Redevelopment Agency.

Commissioner Campbell is married to Curnesha and is the proud father to NeAsia, Ava, & Justin Jr.
